Olsen 'surprised not to end up like Spears'

Ashley Olsen has claimed that she can see parallels between herself and Britney Spears.

The former Full House star admitted that growing up in the public eye could have led her into a public meltdown similar to that of the 'Circus' singer, the New York Daily News reports.

She said: "[Growing up] it was almost like I was in the army. School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at two in the morning, do a morning show at 5am., then another one at 7am, then a radio interview at 10am."

She added: "I look at Britney, and I'm surprised I didn't end up like her."

The 23-year-old recently revealed that she prefers to stay out of the press and relishes her privacy.
