WENN
The acclaimed actor, who played FBI boss Jack Malone in the crime series, announced that he would rather live the relaxed life of a surfer in his home country than that of a Hollywood star.
He told the Herald Sun: "I've retired. I don't know about forever, I always think it's silly when people say forever in acting, but at least for about six months to a year.
"Nothing is permanent. But I'm very happy doing nothing at the moment and a job would really have to grab my interest. I'm quite happy living the life of a surfie."
