Gomez: 'Taylor Lautner made me so happy'

Selena Gomez has laughed off reports that she is dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner, but admitted that meeting him has made her "so happy".

The Wizards Of Waverly Place star was linked to Lautner earlier this year after the pair were spotted hanging out together in Vancouver.

Speaking to Seventeen, she said: "He is so sweet. Taylor has made me so happy. I didn't know I could be that happy... He's a great guy but I'm 100% single and I'm going to keep it that way for a while."

The 17-year-old went on to say that she met Lautner while he was filming New Moon in Vancouver and she was working on upcoming movie Ramona And Beezus.

"Kristen [Stewart] was staying in my hotel. He would visit her, so we were constantly running into each other in the lobby - and we ended up meeting. We would go out to lunch and dinner, but I knew he had paparazzi following him and I had paparazzi following me," she explained.

"So we literally just wanted to hang out, go bowling and stuff, and it went a little too far, I think. People were getting a little crazy about us... But it was fun - I went to Vancouver thinking I was going to focus on my work, but instead I got to meet him, and it ended up being the best thing ever."
