Molly Ringwald has said that taking care of her newly-born twins is both "exhausting" and "wonderful".

The Sixteen Candles star, who gave birth to Adele Georgiana and Roman Stylianos last month, already has 5-year-old daughter Mathilda with husband Panio Gianopoulos. The 41-year-old explained that she has been losing sleep tending to the infants, People reports.

She said: "You get up with one of the babies and feed and change that one and get the baby back to sleep, and the other wakes up, and then you feed and change that one."

She added: "It is exhausting, but it's wonderful."

Ringwald currently stars on ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Her pregnancy was written into the show's plotline.
