Brad Pitt 'angered by nanny rumour'

Brad Pitt was furious over allegations surrounding his behaviour towards a female employee, it has been claimed.

In March this year, a US magazine reported that Angelina Jolie had walked in on her partner as he was rubbing their nanny's back after she complained about feeling ill.

Additionally, it was alleged that Jolie had slapped Pitt before sacking the worker on the spot.

A source close to the couple has now told Hello magazine that the rumour was "probably the dumbest story of all".

The insider added: "Like Brad would do such a thing. He might not want me to say so, but that really p*ssed him off. It made him sound so empty-headed and foolhardy, and that is so not who he is.

"But this is what happens when they're not always out there in the public eye. People make up stories about them just to keep them in the news."

Pitt recently described media gossip about his relationship as "self-generating".
