Douglas son 'accused of dealing meth'

New York prosecutors have accused Michael Douglas's son of dealing large amounts of methamphetamine, says The AP.

A criminal complaint released yesterday alleged that Cameron Douglas, 30, was paid tens of thousands of dollars by New York residents to acquire the drugs.

It is reported that the money was sometimes posted to the actor at a California hotel and that he would then ship the drugs to New York or deliver them in person.

The complaint added that he had been under investigation for at least three years.

Douglas was arrested at the Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan on July 28. Prosecutors have declined to comment and it is not known who the actor's attorney is.
