Kerry Katona has been axed by MTV following a lack of interest in her reality show What's The Problem?, it has been reported.

The viewing figures for the programme's latest instalment plummeted to just 19,000, The Sun reports.

A source said: "Viewers are finally fed up of Kerry's antics. She had a good run, but there's only so many 'car crash' TV scenes you can be bothered to watch.

"People already knew half the stuff in the show as it had been in the papers. So when you were watching her split from Mark, you knew they were going to get back together."

Katona reportedly earned £100,000 from the show which handled her bipolar condition.

The Iceland star's earlier series Crazy In Love was MTV's number one rated programme for two years, drawing in 500,000 viewers.
