Beth Ditto: 'I was overcome by Holy Ghost'

The 28-year-old Gossip singer, who was raised as a Pentecostal, admitted that she had an emotional religious experience as a young child and that she worries she won't be saved.
Ditto told Observer Woman magazine: "You live in this shadow that you're going to burn in hell until you're saved. And I still worry about it a little. I don't believe in heaven, but I do still fear hell.
"I was overcome by the Holy Ghost one time. But in a Baptist way."
She added: "I was 6 or 7, and I was saved. I just cried and cried. It was joy!"
