Bjorn Ulvaeus has crushed the hearts of thousands of people all over the world by saying that he and the other band members would never reform to entertain them again.
The Swedes refuse to be bought. Bjorn has said that no matter how much money is thrown at them, the band will not sing. In 2000 they were offered $1 billion (£550m) to perform, but they would not play along as they would lack the spark they had in bygone times.
Bjorn explains: "Deep in my heart I know people would be disappointed if they saw us back on the stage.
Just look at our videos, that energy, that drive, that enthusiasm. You wouldn't see that."
