$3 million lawsuit filed against Jackson

Michael Jackson is being sued for $3m over unpaid loans and fees owed to businessman Marc Schaffel, the BBC reports.
Schaffel claims that he is owed money for production fees for two TV specials he produced for Jackson, in which the star bit back at the famous Martin Bashir documentary. Production fees are also owed for a charity record that he produced following 9/11, he says.
On top of these fees, Schaffel is also claiming that Jackson owes him for his notorious spending sprees (as seen on the Bashir documentary), in which he bought expensive jewellery for the needy Elizabeth Taylor.
Jackson's ongoing child molestation saga continues, and he is due to stand trial in January of next year.
