Lineker & Bux reveal wedding plans

Gary Lineker has booked 48 rooms at the five-star Hotel Caruso on the Italian Riviera to guarantee exclusive use of the venue for his marriage to Danielle Bux.

The ex-footballer has paid £250,000 to wed his model girlfriend where he proposed to her, reports the Sunday Mirror.

A source told the tabloid: "It's almost exactly a year after Gary popped the question and in the same place. They chose it because Gary knows Italy is her favourite place in the world.

"He doesn't want it to be as over-the-top as some footballers' weddings and they have only invited family and close friends."

Bux will be given away in a Suzanne Neville couture dress by her wheelchair-bound brother Kaid who broke his neck escaping from a nightclub fight. Her 7-year-old daughter Ella will be a flower girl on the day.

After a formal ceremony, guests will be given a six-course meal and have permission to use a helicopter and a motor-cruiser to travel around the Med.

Amongst those attending are Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Lineker's fellow football guru Alan Hanson.

The newlyweds will stay the night in a three-room bridal suite with a bathtub overlooking the Mediterranean.
