ABC 'slams Heigl over Grey's criticism'

ABC executives have reportedly blasted Katherine Heigl's recent criticism of Grey's Anatomy.

Network president Steve McPherson has slammed the Ugly Truth star for denouncing the show as having a "cruel and mean" work schedule.

McPherson told The Hollywood Reporter: "I think it's unfortunate. People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave.

"There are so many people who work so hard on Grey's Anatomy, and all of our shows, without any notoriety and those are the ones I'd be concerned about, people who feel like they're being criticised or looked down upon."
