Price confirms New York Marathon run

Katie Price has said that she will run the New York Marathon later this year.

The glamour model wrote on her Twitter page that she would be entering the annual race to raise money for good causes.

Price said: "Woo, I can confirm I'm doing the New York marathon November 4 for charity. Start training next week xx."

She added: "DPatrickThistle marathon is all about publicity an raising money for charity be a sport an try it an waste your breath a run (sic)."

Price completed the 29th Flora London Marathon in April in 7 hours and 11 minutes after suffering a leg injury during the race.

She was helped across the finish line by her now-estranged husband Peter Andre after she collapsed at the 18th and 23rd miles.
