The Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars announced that they were separating seven weeks ago, although Jon has since been linked to Hailey Glassman, the daughter of Kate's cosmetic surgeon.
Speaking to Meredith Vieira on NBC's Today show, she said: "It is hurtful. It's very hurtful. To be very honest, the most hurtful part is when his decisions directly affect our children.
"That's the hardest part for me. [But] they're his decisions, they might not be ones that I would make."
She added: "If you're asking if this was an end result of the show, a product of the show, I feel like it would have happened anyway. Cameras on, cameras off.
"I'm as well as can be expected, thank you, I'm determined to hang in there. My focus is still the health and wellbeing of my children as well as myself."
Jon and Kate announced that they were separating in June following ten years of marriage.
