According to the National Enquirer, the Mean Girls star had agreed to seek professional help after Ronson staged an "intervention" over Lohan's alleged depression.
However, the actress branded the report as "weird" and "incorrect" in a statement to Gossip Cop.
She added: "Sam, [my little sister] Ali and I just landed back in LA. Had a really great weekend in Chicago, celebrating Samantha's birthday with [members of her family and friends]."
Lohan was recently reported to have turned down the opportunity to star in Ronson's proposed reality show over fears about how it might affect her career.
