Renée, Christie attend Renato funeral
Singers Renée and Tony Christie have attended the funeral of 'Save Your Love' singer Renato Pagliari.

Former Aston Villa football manager and close friend Ron Atkinson was also among the mourners at Sutton Coldfield's Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Pagliari's music was played throughout the service, which culminated in a standing ovation for his rendition of 'Nessun Dorma'.

Renée scored a Christmas No.1 with Pagliari with 'Save Your Love' in 1981. Speaking about her collaborator, she told the Birmingham Post: "We had a wonderful time when we had our hit and he was a great person to work with. He was a fantastic character and I think he spent his whole life entertaining people." The duo last performed together in December.

The ex-Italian waiter passed away last week, aged 69, after suffering a brain tumour.
