Katie Price 'wants a baby' with Reid

Katie Price is planning to have a baby with her new boyfriend Alex Reid, a report has claimed.

The glamour model will start trying to extend her family as soon as her split from estranged husband Peter Andre becomes official, according to the Daily Star today.

Price had spoken about having another child with Andre just one month before they broke up in May, offering a "100% guarantee" that she would be pregnant "sometime this year".

Since the marriage breakdown, she has described herself as a "family girl" and admitted that she still wants more children.

A source said: "Kate is desperate for another baby and thinks it will bring her and Alex closer. She feels she has a special bond with him. And now that she knows there is no going back to Pete, she is determined to move on and put the past behind her.

"Kate has really opened her heart to Alex. She thinks that it would be good to start trying for a baby with him as soon as her divorce is finalised."

However, a spokesman for Price insisted: "The baby plans are categorically 100% untrue."

The star recently defended her relationship with Reid by insisting that it is not too soon to move on from Andre.
