Jeff Brazier has said that he talks to his children about their late mother Jade Goody to keep her in their thoughts.

The presenter and father of Goody's two sons told Key 103 that he tried to protect the boys by not brushing their mother's death "under carpets" as some younger people tend to do when they grieve.

Brazier said: "We talk about her all the time just simply because I think it's the right thing to do.

"When we talk about it it's happy memories, as opposed to when you leave it for a few months and then all of a sudden it's all confusion and dismay."

He added: "I'm not going to let it get like that, so I'm just carefully taking the right steps to ensure that again, they're as least affected as possible."

Reality TV star Goody died in her sleep at the age of 27 on March 22 after a battle with cancer.

She was survived by her two sons and newlywed husband Jack Tweed.
