Rooney demands privacy for Price, Andre

Coleen Rooney has claimed that Katie Price and Peter Andre should be granted privacy as they make plans for their divorce.

The 23-year-old wife of Man United player Wayne Rooney admitted that she is shocked by the intensity of the media coverage surrounding the warring couple's split.

Writing in her OK column, she explained: "I believe that the added complication in the Peter Andre and Katie Price situation is the level of press that their breakdown is attracting.

"As far as I'm concerned, really enough is enough! I do think for the sake of everyone concerned, the media should leave this story alone and let them get on with sorting their lives out."

Price and Andre announced that they had separated in May after nearly four years of marriage.

Their break-up has since resulted in a public war of words between the pair, with Andre recently branding his estranged wife "disgusting" and Price hitting back by suggesting that he is "manipulative".
