Jaime Pressly: 'I didn't pee in public'

Jaime Pressly has admitted that pictures which appeared online reportedly showing her urinating in public were a gag.

The My Name Is Earl star, who recently became engaged to her entertainment lawyer boyfriend Simran Singh, said that the snaps were part of a "bridal shower dare", The Sun reports.

The 32-year-old denied that she had crouched down in front of Los Angeles club The Abbey to relieve herself and said that the liquid in the photos was water.

"That is me doing dare #8 at my bridal shower. Notice my hand in the back... it's pouring a bottle," she wrote on her Twitter account. "Do you think I would really pee in the entry way to the Abbey in broad DAYLIGHT!!! (sic)"

Pressly played Joy Turner on the now-cancelled NBC sitcom for four seasons.
