The 'Hot n Cold' singer, who appeared at the Australian fair as part of a radio promotion, was apparently desperate to go on the more dangerous rides but was told it was not possible.
The Courier-Mail quotes a representative from Universal Music as saying: "She really wanted to go on some of the scarier rides and kept looking up at the bigger ones. But with all of her security there, the logistics were just too difficult. Plus with so many people knowing she was there... it just couldn't be done."
The source did hint that they expected Perry to head back to the showground last night after her Brisbane show, saying: "I wouldn't be surprised. It would be like her to sneak over and jump on a ride."
The American star apparently was allowed to pick up a tub of candy floss at the event.
