Costa: 'Duncan James can be himself now'

Antony Costa has voiced his support for Duncan James following his decision to speak out over his sexuality.

The star's Blue bandmate last month told a Sunday newspaper that he is bisexual and has been in "loving relationships" with men and women.

Costa has now predicted that James will be happier now that he has gone public with the truth.

He told the Daily Record: "Duncan is my mate, regardless of who he is. I've known him for 12 years of my life and I've always got his back.

"Of course I knew about it and now it's out he can just be himself. It's his life and of course I still care about him."

The pair's fellow bandmember Simon Webbe also recently backed James, insisting that his sexuality is "not a big deal".
