The mother-of fourteen, who was dubbed 'Octomom' by the tabloids after giving birth to octuplets in January, is understood to have undergone surgery on Tuesday.
Sources have declined to reveal the reasons behind her treatment and it is thought that she is still in hospital. Friends and family are reportedly caring for her children.
An insider told Radar Online: "This is not a big deal and Nadya should be back on her feet in a few days."
Fox recently announced plans to air the two-hour documentary Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage on August 19.
