As previously reported, the 'Fire' rockers cancelled a number of upcoming concerts in Australia this week after frontman Tom Meighan was rushed to hospital in Sydney suffering symptoms commonly associated with the virus.
However, the group have now been given the all clear by doctors, a spokeswoman for the band confirmed to The AP. Kasabian are reportedly confident that they will be able to hit the road again in Malaysia this weekend to continue their world tour.
Meighan's bandmate Serge Pizzorno also revealed that they were all feeling ill on the day the singer was hospitalised.
