Trace Cyrus: 'Jonas Brothers are fake'

Trace Cyrus has reportedly slammed the Jonas Brothers, calling the pop band "fake".

The Metro Station frontman, half-brother of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, also insisted that his 'Shake It' band are being true to themselves.

"I'm not trying to clean my image to make anyone happy," Trace told Details magazine. "I could have gone the route of the Jonas Brothers.

"Those guys can't live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that's totally fake."
