Jamie Lee Curtis' painkiller addiction

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, daughter of legendary parents Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, used to be addicted to painkillers follwing plastic surgery, reports The Sun.
The star, who struggled through drug and alcohol problems in the past, has revealed that she took on painkillers as a subtitute after going through with plastic surgery in order to maintain her looks.
The paper quotes her as saying that: “It was a big stimulator of my abuse of pills.
“It was during a cosmetic procedure that I first had painkillers. I found them helpful as they did the job without the messiness of alcohol.
“I’d anaesthetise myself on a daily basis.???
