Pattinson cornered by 'alien' fans

Robert Pattinson was apparently cornered in a public toilet by fans dressed as aliens last month.

The Twilight actor was leaving the bathroom at a recent comic book convention when he was stopped by three people in space outfits.

According to MSN, a friend of the star said: "They blocked him when he tried to exit. Robert panicked, but then the alien monsters whipped off their scary headgear and revealed they were just three giggly Earth gal fans!"

After the girls removed their masks, they apparently asked for Pattinson's autograph, which he gave.

The source added: "Robert thought it was a hilarious stunt and gave the girls everything they wanted."

Police expressed concern for Pattinson's safety when he was mobbed by fans on a recent trip to New York.
