'Scrubs' star expecting first child

Scrubs star Sarah Chalke has announced that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Jamie Afifi.

A representative for the actress, who plays Dr Elliot Reid in the medical sitcom, confirmed to People that the baby is due this winter.

Chalke, 32, became engaged to entertainment lawyer Afifi during a holiday in Hawaii in 2006.

Her Scrubs co-star Judy Reyes recently revealed that she is expecting a baby girl this November.
