New 'Twilight' star 'excited to meet Pattinson'

The 14-year-old actress, who appeared in horror film Silent Hill, has signed on to star in Eclipse, the third instalment in the vampire franchise.
Speaking to E! Online's Marc Malkin, she said: "[I'm] really, really excited to meet Robert Pattinson. Every single person I've told has asked me if they could come to the set. I've said, 'I'll have to think about that'."
Ferland went on to say that she was not allowed to reveal what character she would be playing in the movie, but hinted: "I'm allowed to tell people that I play a vampire who has just been turned.
"In other words, I'm a newborn vampire. I'm not allowed to say the name of the character."
Production on Eclipse is scheduled to begin this month in Vancouver.
