Brother: 'Lachey, Simpson will never reunite'

The Newlyweds stars filed for divorce in 2005 following three years of marriage, but were recently alleged to have been in close contact after both ending relationships at around the same time.
When asked by Us Weekly if the pair would reunite, he replied: "On the record or off the record? No on both."
However, he added: "I think everybody who was a fan of The Newlyweds wants [them to]."
Lachey parted ways with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo in June, while Simpson split from Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo on the eve of her 29th birthday.
