Rice swaps swimming for fashion

Australian swimming champion Stephanie Rice had an opportunity to glam up at a Sydney fashion event last night.

The Olympic gold medallist wore a satin gown and Christian Louboutin heels at the Rosemount Fashion Festival gala opening to support upcoming designer Jayson Brunsdon.

Comparing her outfit to her usual swimming costumes, Rice told The Daily Telegraph: "This is definitely more comfortable than the suits. I can't say the same about the shoes!"

Also at the event was Seven Network heir Ryan Stokes, on his first public appearance since his split from Home and Away star Jodi Gordon in June.
