McFadden 'consulting lawyers' over Katona

Brian McFadden is consulting lawyers after deciding that his ex-wife Kerry Katona is an unfit mother, a report has claimed.

The Irish singer is believed to be taking action following the release of a video which appears to show Katona snorting cocaine in the bathroom of her Cheshire home.

According to London Lite, McFadden has asked his legal team whether action can be taken to remove his two children Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 6, from Katona's care.

A source said: "He is talking to his fiancée Delta Goodrem and is also consulting his lawyers to see what arrangement they can come to about his kids - he no longer wants them to stay with Kerry. He no longer feels that they are safe with her."

Katona has already lost her lucrative Iceland advertisements deal in the wake of the cocaine scandal, but sources close to the star have claimed that she currently has no intention of seeking professional help.

McFadden tied the knot with the former Atomic Kitten singer in February 2002. They split nearly three years later.
