Robert Plant joins Wolves FC?

Robert Plant has been named as vice president of Premiership football club Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Angry Ape.

The Led Zeppelin singer, who has supported the team nearly all of his life, revealed that he was flattered to receive the honour.

"First of all, I'm flattered, but I'm embarrassed to be honest," he said.

"There are so many other people who are so important and relevant to the club, especially the people I sit next to at Molineux in the Steve Bull Stand.

"They've seen so many more games than me and they're able to keep a closer eye on what's going on."
