MTV star Rose rumoured to be engaged

Australian television presenter Ruby Rose is rumoured to be engaged to her new girlfriend, Lyndsey Anne.

The MTV VJ, who was recently called a "tramp" for "stealing" Anne from Australia's Next Top Model contestant Lola Van Vorst, has been dating the Chadwick's model for about a month.

The wedding rumours first surfaced at the Gazebo Wine Garden's third birthday party last week, when guests allegedly overheard Rose telling friends that she and Anne were going to tie the knot.

A Twitter page with the screen name "ruby-is-a-tramp" was later set up to criticise Rose's relationship, sending a message saying that she had "snatched" Van Vorst's girlfriend to hundreds of people, including Rose's 7pm Project co-host Carrie Bickmore and close friends The Veronicas.

The presenter tweeted back yesterday: "You have to have thick skin in this industry. I'm just worried I'm going to have the skin of a rhinoceros."
