Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy denies press rumours that she has split from Arsenal star Ashley Cole.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Cheryl said: "Things are really good between us. He makes me very happy and puts a big smile on my face."
"My mam really approves of him." However, she went on to say that "he hasn't bought me any presents yet."
Cheryl, on the other hand, is planning a surprise for Cole's 24th birthday next month. "He won't be disappointed," she said confidently.
Cheryl's band Girls Aloud are currently at number one with The Pretenders' cover I'll Stand By You.
