Wright Penn resumes divorce proceedings

Robin Wright Penn has resumed divorce proceedings against her estranged husband Sean Penn.

According to People, the actress has filed for divorce from Penn, marking the third time that the couple have sought to legally end their marriage.

It is thought that she cited "irreconcilable differences".

Wright Penn and Penn married in 1996 and have two children together, Dylan Francis, 18, and 16-year-old son Hopper Jack. It is understood that they will share custody.

Representatives for the couple have yet to comment, although Wright Penn recently ruled out any reconciliation with her husband.
