'Raymond' star 'sued by former assistant'

Former Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton is being sued by her former assistant, according to Access Hollywood.

The actress, who played Debra Barone in the CBS sitcom, and her producer husband David Hunt have reportedly been sued by Jennifer Lee in a wrongful termination lawsuit.

The legal papers, filed at LA's Superior Court on Monday, allegedly claim that Lee "was fired soon after she requested payment for her unpaid wages".

She worked for the couple between August 2007 and March 2009. It is understood that she has requested a jury trial.

Heaton has yet to comment on the allegations.
