The 21-year-old was rumoured to have dropped out of the Broadway project amid speculation that it was experiencing financial difficulties.
Wood supposedly urged her agents to reinstate film roles that she had turned down in lieu of appearing in the production, which is directed by Julie Taymor with music composed by U2's Bono and The Edge.
However, her spokesperson has said that the Wrestler star is still attached to play Mary Jane Watson.
"[She is] 100% committed - she didn't pull out," Contactmusic quotes the rep as saying.
Meanwhile, the New York Daily News reports that the play's producers have cast Reeve Carney as the web slinging superhero, who will do battle with Alan Cumming’s Green Goblin.
