'Harry Potter' star in drugs scandal

A Harry Potter star has been caught up in a drugs scandal after being photographed holding what appears to be a marijuana cigarette.

Josh Herdman, who plays Slytherin sidekick Gregory Goyle in the films, was pictured lighting up the apparent joint recently.

A friend of the star told The Sun: "Josh sees himself as one of the boys. He'll join in with whatever anyone's doing - but some fans might be shocked."

The photograph of Herdman is thought to have been taken in Amsterdam last year during a holiday with friends.

The 21-year-old actor is the second Harry Potter celebrity to hit headlines for drugs after fellow cast member Jamie Waylett narrowly escaped jail after pleading guilty to growing cannabis in his bedroom.
