Minogue sees boyfriend make model debut

Dannii Minogue has confessed that she started organising her "secret trip" to Australia to see her boyfriend make his modelling debut almost as soon as she left him for the last time.

The X Factor judge, who has been dating rugby player-turned-model Kris Smith since last summer, said that she would not have missed his appearance in the Sydney Myer fashion show last night.

She told Australia's Daily Telegraph: "It took a month of planning and I'm so jet-lagged I don't even know where I am but I made it."

When asked if she was tempted to touch her bare-chested lover on the catwalk, Minogue replied: "I may just run on to the stage and jump him."

Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon was apparently a no-show at the design event, reportedly because of his ex-wife Minogue's presence. The couple divorced in 1995 after less than two years of marriage.
