Kerry Katona is to be quizzed by social workers when she returns to the UK from her holiday in Tenerife, it has been claimed.

According to The Sun, child welfare officers are keen to speak to the troubled star following the release of video footage which appears to show her snorting cocaine at her residence in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

The newspaper also reports that Katona's eldest children Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 6, will be interviewed about their mother. Insiders have claimed that the two girls were at home when the video was filmed.

Katona was allegedly overheard discussing the developments in a phone call on her holiday in Tenerife, commenting: "I can't believe this is happening. I'm not going to let them take my kids."

The former I'm A Celebrity... winner flew out to the Spanish island on Sunday after the allegations of cocaine use first emerged.

Previous reports have suggested that Katona will also soon face a police quiz, as well as a fresh custody battle with ex-husband Brian McFadden for Molly and Lilly-Sue.
