Rick Edwards: 'Peter Andre stitched me up'

The presenter told Channelbee that his co-host Steve Jones had performed Andre's hit single 'Mysterious Girl' with Keith Lemon before Edwards brought out Andre himself to reprise the song.
Edwards said: "I thought he's going to carry it. It's his song, he'll kill it, and I'll be there just doing the Bubbler Ranks thing probably and it'll be fine. I gave him a hug, the music started and he just refused to sing.
"He just wouldn't sing. So I was left there and I scarcely knew the tune. And I'm just going, 'Oh, oh oh oh, Mystery Girl... Andre! Andre! Come on Andre, please!'
"And I honestly thought - because we did a bit of verse first - that he's saving it for the chorus. He wasn't saving it for the chorus. He just didn't do it."
He added: "Effectively he made me look like a total d**k in front of 45,000 people and live on television and I really hated it, and I used to be an Andre fan.
"Having said that, karma was almost instant, because straight after that, as you probably know, he sung his new single 'Behind Closed Doors' and he fell off the stage."
