Streep: 'I wanted to marry Prince Charles'

The 60-year-old Julie & Julia star has admitted that she fantasised about being a part of royalty.
Streep told the Daily Mail: "When I was a kid I wanted to be a princess and marry Prince Charles.
"When I met him I told him about it and said I was sorry it didn’t work out between us. But I’m not really sorry."
Streep has been married to sculptor Don Gummer since 1978.
