Danielle Lloyd has credited psychotherapy with saving her life after she hit her "lowest point" last year.
The glamour model told the News of the World that she considered killing herself following the fallout from her controversial appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 5.
Lloyd said: "I'd have drunk myself to death or taken my own life. I'd hit my lowest point - I'd lost control and wondered what it would be like not to be alive. I was drinking because I had no other way of coping.
"I was using champagne and vodka to blot out everything. The next day I wouldn't remember a thing. I didn't like the person I'd become but I had no other way of dealing with my feelings."
She added: "I found out about a Facebook page called 'I Hate Danielle Lloyd'. It sent me over the edge. I spent two weeks in my flat crying.
"I wanted to stop drinking and get my life back together. I knew I was at rock bottom. I didn't dare leave my flat and panicked at the thought of going out. I was desperate. I knew I needed help.
"Therapy saved my life. Without it, I don't know what would have happened."
