Flo Rida: 'I'm a shy romantic at heart'

Flo Rida has claimed that despite his tough guy image, he is actually a romantic at heart.

During his teenage years, the 'Low' rapper apparently found that he was too shy to attract female attention.

"Growing up, I never really had girlfriends," he admitted to Sugar's LadMag. "I was always too shy.

"I'd like to meet someone special and treat them to candelit dinners. I'm very respectful and loving, you know."

Flo Rida recently released new single 'Jump' - a collaboration with Nelly Furtado that features in the Disney film G-Force.
