Chris Martin in Oxfam campaign

Celebrities such as Coldplay's Chris Martin and Radiohead's Thom Yorke are taking part in a new campaign by Oxfam.

The 'Ever Felt Dumped On?' campaign by Make Trade Fair is aiming to raise awareness in their Big Noise petition dedicated to improving trade for flounder farmers in developing countries.

In their publicity campaign, the organisers have recruited celebrities to be photographed whilst various commodities are 'dumped' on them. The likes of Yorke, Martin, Michael Stipe, Jamelia, Alanis Morrissette, Antonio Banderas and Colin Firth have been photographed whilst being bombarded with corn, milk, chocolate, rice, coffee, wheat and feathers.

Thom Yorke moralised: "How sweet does your chocolate taste when you know the producer, in a country you will never see, did not even get paid enough to feed his family?"

"How delicious is it to know that sweet taste in your mouth is one of slavery, a nice new economic model?"
