Jonas 'dreams of becoming president'

Nick Jonas has admitted that he was not entirely joking when he claimed that he wanted to run for president.

The youngest Jonas Brother recently told a National Press Club conference in Washington DC that he had "always had this dream of becoming president one day".

Speaking to Reuters, he said: "As much as I joke about it and kind of say it to get a laugh, it is somewhat serious. I don't know if it will happen."

He added that he would "probably study English and then political science" if he chose to attend university in the future.

The 16-year-old is currently touring with his brothers and is scheduled to begin filming the sequel to Disney's Camp Rock later this year.
