The 53-year-old had previously said that she believed her sibling was murdered by individuals who were after his fortune.
It was reported earlier that the late singer's passing is now being considered a homicide, after an anonymous law enforcement leaked the coroner's ruling.
The affidavit suggests that Dr Conrad Murray administered a lethal injection of the anaesthetic propofol to the 50-year-old, while the physician's lawyer issued a statement that many of the search warrant proclamations are unfounded.
However, La Toya explained that she is "grateful to the investigators for uncovering the truth", the New York Daily News reports.
"I am thankful to the investigators for uncovering the truth to the world," she said in a statement. "And I look forward to the day that justice will be served to all the parties involved in my brother's homicide."
The star's mum Katherine had earlier stated her belief that he had not died from natural causes, while she is apparently considering a wrongful death lawsuit against Murray.
