Bellucci tired of Hollywood parties

Monica Bellucci has announced that she is turning her back on Hollywood parties for the sake of her 4-year-old daughter Deva.

The Italian star, who is married to actor Vincent Cassel, said that she would now much rather be at home with her family than walking the red carpet at glitzy events.

She told the Daily Mail: "I am at a stage in my life where I if I don't go out, I don't feel I'm missing something. I get bored surrounded by people smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol. And I'm not so interested now in going to premieres or being photographed on the red carpet. I want to be with her."

Talking about motherhood, the 44-year-old added: "Kids steal your sleep! I didn’t sleep for two years; I was breast-feeding for nine months. But I was so happy to become a mother, I don’t mind any of the sacrifices. They are the ways in which you learn."
