Claire Danes: 'Monogamy is fun'

Claire Danes has said that monogamy is fun, despite needing discipline and selflessness.

The actress recently announced her engagement to Adam star Hugh Dancy and is said to be "calm and excited" about her impending wedding.

Regarding monogamy, Danes told BlackBook: "I was talking to my friend about [whether it] is feasible, is it realistic?

"I resolved that there isn't really a better model. We just can't shake monogamy. It definitely demands a kind of rigour and discipline and selflessness. But it's also fun."
